Pre-Kindergarten is an intervention program for four-year olds who have specific needs for schooling before the age of five when schooling begins for all students. The program includes a focus on communication, cognitive, motor, and social/emotional development. Prekindergarten is an effort to prepare preschool children for school by providing readiness experiences. Programs are available at campuses with sufficient numbers of eligible students.
