The Klein ISD Benchmark Program is managed throughout the Curriculum & Instruction Department and includes Scope and Sequence Benchmarks and curriculum-based TAKS Simulations throughout Grade 3-11. The program’s stated goals are to ensure that our students 1) comprehend the TEKS as they are introduced, 2) have their weaknesses identified as the school year progresses in terms of specific Student Expectations, and 3) are provided opportunities to practice on assessments that resemble the TAKS test in both format and difficulty. |
