Community & Student Engagement
The Klein ISD invites its community and area corporations to "jury" student projects during the annual "TPSP Showcase" each May. Hundreds of student presenters are eager to share their research with an audience member.  Evaluations are simple and interested jurists can select a specific hour and favorite categories.  This is a wonderful volunteer opportunity!
What Are Grading Rubrics?
Grading rubrics are designed by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and results collected from the rubrics are used to evaluate the instructional programming for gifted students. Just click HERE  for more from TEA about the state rubrics.

What Are COLEF Charts?
A COLEF chart is an instructional tool.  COLEF stands for Continuum of Learning Experiences Framework.  The framework charts are a resource for assisting teachers in developing a continuum of learning experiences that leads to the development of advanced-level products and/or performances resulting from in-depth research.
What Is The TPSP?
TPSP stands for Texas Performance Standards Project and is supported by the Texas Education Agency (TEA). The TPSP provides a series of performance tasks and assessments in grades K-12. GT students in grades 4, 8, and high school from all campuses are juried anonymously by professionals and community members at the district level, and representatives from the other grades from all campuses are invited to join the juried presenters and share their work at Klein ISD TPSP Showcase each May.
