The Klein Forest student council was named the 2012-13 State President School by the Texas Association of Student Councils (TASC) at the convention held April 1-3, 2012, in Arlington, Texas. KFHS students earned this honor through two days of campaigning, a skit designed to share their platform “Every Monday Matters,” held a candidate meet and greet, manned a booth, and delivered a one minute speech to more than 5,000 students at the convention.
