The Klein ISD will host an Auxiliary Job Fair from 9 a.m.–1 p.m. on Sat., July 21, 2012, at the Multipurpose Center located at 7500 FM 2920, Klein, TX 77379. Positions available include food service workers, crossing guards, custodial and maintenance staff and bus drivers.

Individuals interested may submit an application in advance online at https://jac.kleinisd.net/jac3/JobCat.aspx, and computers will also be available onsite at the event. High school students in the Klein ISD participated in the Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA) National Conference held June 20-23, 2012, at the Disney's Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Fla. Klein High senior Komal Nathani took first place in the Knowledge Test: Concepts of Healthcare category.

In addition to Nathani, KHS students Megan Bryne, Xochitl Corona, Michael Lin, Ruth Obnamia, Radly Peralta and Ahsen Soomro also placed third in the Public Service Announcement competition. Claudia Chan from Klein Oak was a national finalist after placing in the top 10 percent in the Kaiser Permante Health Care Issues exam. The Klein Collins’ team of Kanika Bhandari, Lakshmi Pillai, Srirasika Reddy and April Tiu also finished in the top 10 in the Health Education contest.
