Klein ISD Education Foundation Receives Donation from HEB Tournament
Klein ISD employees, Winni Attaway and Rick Stockton receive HBJ awards.

The H-E-B Tournament of Champions has awarded a donation in the amount of $5,000 to the Klein ISD Education Foundation (KEF) in support of the S.T.E.A.M. Express.

The Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (S.T.E.A.M.) Express will be a re-fitted traveling RV style trailer complete with unique activities and experiments for all student age groups. The S.T.E.A.M. Express will visit campuses and communities year round beginning in the fall of 2014. Certified teachers will share exciting and hands-on learning experiences from the S.T.E.A.M. Express that will allow students to travel outside of the normal classroom. To date the KEF funds raised for the S.T.E.A.M. Express mobile classroom total $105,011.

The H-E-B Tournament of Champions is an annual golf tournament sponsored by H-E-B’s vendor community that helps provide funds for charitable projects and programs that have a positive impact on local communities.
