Senior Citizen Benefits
Dear Klein ISD Resident:
The Klein school district is appreciative of the community support we enjoy—particularly the support of citizens whose children have already graduated from high school. We are aware that you probably moved into the Klein ISD because you knew that strong schools build a strong community. We value involvement of citizens in our schools and invite you to visit them whenever possible.
Are you aware that any Klein resident 65 years or older is entitled to two free general admission tickets to any regular season Klein ISD athletic game or one of the high school’s theatrical events that are open to the public? One way to efficiently access tickets is with the Senior Citizen Gold Card. You can fill out an application online to receive your card in the mail. If you prefer, you may visit the receptionist at the KISD central office at 7200 Spring Cypress to make application. If you have any questions about obtaining the Senior Citizen Gold Card, please contact Debbie Scheel at 832-249-4751 or email@example.com.
Because many of our high school quality performance programs sell out in advance, we recommend you call the school in advance to check on the availability of seats. Checking early is especially important for the musical dramas presented in the spring; reservation requests often exceed the seats available on a specific performance night. Tickets must be obtained prior to the events during normal business hours from the appropriate school office or department.
If you are interested in volunteering for the district at area schools, please visit our volunteers webpage for information and online registration. We also encourage you to register for our daily e-mail news called KleINTOUCH. This brief daily message can help you connect with the district and our outstanding students. Registration is located on the district homepage at the bottom of the screen.
We will be pleased to provide a speaker for any community organization that wants to know how citizens can stay connected with the school district or just to learn more about the district. Thank you for your continued support as it is important for our students and for our schools; a committed community makes a difference for students.
