The goal of the Transportation Department is to provide the safest, most reliable service possible for the students of Klein ISD. The district prepares well trained, qualified drivers who are committed to following all policies and procedures so that we may provide excellent service to our students. |
|
The Klein ISD transportation department is responsible for safely busing nearly 18,000 students to and from school each day on nearly 180 routes, a third of which are special education routes. The transportation department also provides busing for sports and other extra-curricular activities. Our numbers will continue to grow but our commitment to service and safety will never change. |

State Roll Call Information | |||||||||||||||||||
Klein school bus drivers will be taking State Roll Call during the first semester on the following dates: Tuesday, October 30, 2012 This process involves checking off names on a prepared list and adding students not on the list. Roll call is taken during the morning and afternoon runs. Every effort is made to streamline this process; however, buses will sometimes run later on these days. We encourage students to ride on these days, as part of our funding is based on student ridership. Your children will not be counted tardy if they arrive "late" to school on a Klein school bus.
