Klein ISD has a unique opportunity to preserve the heritage of our area and its legacy through the Klein, Texas Historical Foundation. The Historical Foundation was founded in 1988 to preserve the history and culture of the people, traditions, and folklore that enrich the community life of Klein, Texas. All fourth graders attend a farm field trip and the public is invited to free tours of the complex from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm the last Saturday of each month except November, December and May. The Historical Foundation also co-sponsors the annual German Fest.
