The public is invited to free tours of the Klein, TX Museum complex from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm the last Saturday of each month except November and December.
Tours are set up to keep the kids and adults engaged the entire time. For kids we offer the job wheel. They will spin the wheel and get assigned a job that will take them across the entire museum complex asking them to complete jobs.
Older kids and adults may choose to do a HISTORY HUNT that will lead them from building to builiding where they will interact with live interpreters as well as on their own.
You may also prefer a formal tour that walks you through one of the houses. Simply grab one of the lead interpreters and they will be happy to walk you through or if a tour is in process feel free to jump in. We also offer virtual tours via QR codes that are outside the house. Simply use a QR reading app from any smart device and watch as you walk through the house.
All tours start at the picnic tables on the farm property.
If you have any questions you can call the museum office at 832-249-5800 or by emailing Steve Baird at firstname.lastname@example.org
