    One to One Computing
The implementation of one-to-one computing (a mobile computer device for every student) is a three step process that includes:
    1) the installation of a wireless infrastructure at each campus
    2) teacher laptop distribution and training
    3) distribution of student computing devices and a change in instructional strategies. On site technical and instructional technology support accompanies one-to-one computing at every campus.

The current schedule for one-to-one computing in Klein ISD is:
    • 2006 - Teachers and Students, Vistas High School Program
    • 2007- Teachers and Students, Krimmel Intermediate School and Teachers, Klein Oak HS
    • 2008 - Students, Klein Oak HS and Teachers, Klein Forest HS
    • 2009 - Students, Klein Forest HS and Teachers, Klein Collins HS
    • 2010 - Students, Klein Collins HS and Teachers, Klein High School
