Salary Information

Police Officer’s work 240 duty days a year. Minimum: $23.39 hr. starting pay
• 3% Shift Differential Pay and $150/monthly bilingual stipend available 

With additional years of Police Service there are incentives for experienced Officers as well as a Monthly Stipend for TCOLE Certificates: Intermediate- $100 Advance-$200 Master-$300 
Optional cell phone allowance of $ 45/month.

How to Apply

Listed below are the preferred requirements to apply to the Klein ISD Police Department. Two years active paid law enforcement service and be eligible for rehire by previous agencies, two years of military service with discharge under honorable conditions or 60 hours college. All applicants must hold a current TCOLE license by the State of Texas.
