Heather Blumenthal
Kleb Intermediate
Heather Blumenthal has become a familiar face at Kleb Intermediate. Blumenthal is a loyal parent and over the last four years has become one of Kleb’s most devoted cheerleaders. “I can always count on her enthusiasm and contagious smile to ‘move mountains’ for us,” said Pam Bourgeois, principal at Kleb. “She is dependable and well respected by Kleb’s staff and her peers.” Blumenthal currently serves as the volunteer coordinator at three Klein ISD campuses: Brill Elementary, Kleb, and Klein High. In addition, she serves as treasurer of the Lady Kats Basketball Booster Club and will serve as a Klein ISD Ambassador.

Armando Ramos
Kaiser Elementary
Ramos is a past president of the Kaiser Elementary PTO who continues to help and volunteer at Kaiser. He is also an outstanding supporter of the the Klein ISD, as he helps out with the Klein Forest High band, clubs at Wunderlich Intermediate, and several Kaiser activities. All three of Ramos’ children attended elementary school at Kaiser. His son, Joseph, is in the top nine percent of his class at Klein Forest, while his daughter, Elizabeth, has had works published while at Wunderlich. His youngest, Julissa, just left Kaiser and is now a sixth grader at Wunderlich. Kaiser and the Klein ISD extend a special thanks to Ramos for being an active parent and dedicated volunteer.

Amy Kuehnle
Krimmel Intermediate
Amy Kuehnle has become a very familiar face on the Krimmel campus, as she joined the PTO executive board nearly three years ago. In the middle of her first year, Kuehnle took the helm as PTO president when the former president left to take a teaching position. Kuehnle has three of her four children in the Klein ISD with her eldest son at Klein Oak, middle son at Krimmel, daughter at Benignus, and her youngest daughter in preschool at Trinity Lutheran. She currently serves on both the Krimmel and Benignus Executive PTO boards, and is an active volunteer at Klein Oak. Kuehnle was also selected to represent the community as a member of the Ambassador Program.

Michelle Litteer
Benignus Elementary
The Klein ISD, students, staff and community of Benignus Elementary recognize Michelle Litteer as one of the premier volunteers on campus. Litteer has become a very familiar face at Benignus since she arrived four years ago. She is an active parent on campus as her daughter, Allison, is now a third grader. Litteer is also a loyal volunteer, as well as a positive voice for the school, community and the Klein ISD. “I can always count on her enthusiasm and dedication to our boys and girls,” said Misty Kainer, campus principal. “She is dependable and well respected by the Benignus staff and her peers.” Currently, Litteer serves as the president of the Benignus PTO. Her real estate expertise has been a benefit to the campus when working with parents and businesses in the community.

Jennifer Rasmussen
Zwink Elementary
Williams is currently serving as the volunteer coordinator at Klein Collins High School. She has been volunteering in the Klein ISD for more than nine years. She believes that our schools reflect our neighborhoods, and strongly believes in being proud of the place in which we live. Williams’ favorite activity at KCHS is helping out with the boat races in the spring. “I love watching the students be successful, and also accept and laugh about the challenges of their trip across the pool,” she exclaimed. Williams has three children, Alan, 19, Issac, 15, and Kate, 12. Her husband, Dewayne, is also noted as her support system, and is seen helping out when there are big projects at Klein Collins. The Klein ISD sincerely thanks Williams for her support and dedication to the students

Cheryl Brisbane
Northampton Elementary School
Northampton is pleased to recognize Cheryl Brisbane as the Volunteer of the Month. Besides being involved in girl scouts, swim team, and her church, she has served in numerous capacities here at Northampton. Brisbane has served in every type of room parent position, she served on the Parent-Faculty Organization board for four years, coordinated classroom readers, 5th grade party, sewed German Fest costumes and is very active in the library with book fair and book fair volunteers. She is a loyal parent and volunteer as well as a positive voice for our school and our district being involved as a Key Communicator, serving as a Campus Instructional Development Council member and as an Ambassador for friends of public schools. Brisbane always has a smile and a positive word for everyone.
