Klein ISD Nutrition and Food Services are proud to introduce...Klein2Go for dinner!

What are Klein2Go Dinners?
Klein2Go Dinners are part of our solution to providing students with healthy meals while enrolled in Klein Online. It's 7 days' worth of your child's favorite lunch entrees in bulk, sides, and milk...for FREE!

Klein2Go Dinners include 7 days worth of dinner meals that include the following, per child:
- Bulk entree choice (from that week's available options)
- Bulk side vegetable
- Variety of side fruit
- Snack items
- One gallon of milk

Who is eligible for Klein2Go Dinners?
Klein2Go Dinners are available to Klein Online students and every child 18 and under who does not receive an after school meal. The child does not have to be a student in Klein ISD. A child must be present to receive a meal kit or approved documentation may be shown (see below).

When do Klein2Go Dinners begin?
Klein2Go Dinners will begin on January 14th and run every Thursday on the following schedule:

1 PM–2 PM

Klein Oak High School

How do I receive my Klein2Go Dinners?
1) Drive up - Simply drive up to any of our various Klein2Go Dinner stations (marked with flags) during our serving hours. 

2) VerifyIf your child is present no additional documentation is needed. 

Our Klein2Go counters must record student name and date of birth.

If the child is not present, you must provide one of the following approved documents:

  • Student ID card
  •  Official district letter or email listing child(ten) enrollment
  •  Individual student report card
  •  Attendance record from the parent portal (ex. Skyward)
  •  Birth certificate for children not enrolled in school
2) ChooseYOU choose the entree option from that week's entree options, and you may select one option per student!

Will we continue to offer Klein2Go multi-day meal kits?
Absolutely! Klein2Go Dinners is in addition to our Klein2Go multi-day meal kits. Klein2Go multi-day meal kits will continue to follow the same Tuesday AM and PM schedules (found here). 

What is the difference between Klein2Go and Klein2Go Dinners?

Klein2Go (on Tuesdays) is your 1 stop for 7 days worth of lunch and breakfast meals. This option offers a variety of menu items and choice of milk flavor.

Klein2Go Dinners (on Thursdays) offers the option to choose your child's bulk entree. You will also receive a bulk vegetable side and a variety of fruit. Only gallon white milk is offered with our dinner meals.

Thanks to recent USDA waiver extensions, all students will continue to receive free breakfasts and lunches through the 20-21 school year regardless of eligibility.

Students enrolled in Klein On Campus may receive both breakfast and lunch meals daily on campus.

Klein Online students are also eligible to receive meals free of charge by visiting any of our Klein2Go stations on Tuesdays and picking up a multi day meal kit. Schedule posted below.

What is included in the free meals provided?

Every breakfast and lunch include a well balanced menu. Meals include a main entree, fruit and/or vegetable sides, and milk. Menus for each campus can be found online, any time at

Can my student still purchase a la carte items?

Absolutely! A la cart items are still available at all our campuses. Prices for items can be found on our 20-21 Price List.

Do I need to submit an application for meal benefits?

You do not need to apply for meal benefits for your student to receive their free meal. However, it is always recommended families apply for meal benefits if there is a change in family income and to continue receiving additional benefits (where applicable). See income guidelines here.
