Capital Projects

Under the direction of Mr. Danny Phillips, the Executive Director Department of Capital Projects is responsible for the administration and management of district's capital construction program to include new construction, additions, renovations, and/or repair projects. The development, implementation and enforcement of districts construction standards. Provide professional design and construction expertise for in-house projects and consultants. Ensure compliance with Texas Education Agency Construction Standards for new construction and major renovation projects. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and codes for all construction projects. Participate in the development of strategic, long-range plans for capital construction projects and bond projects. Establish project budgets and ensure proper management of same to maintain financial integrity and control.
