The idea of Culture 4 Caring was born in an effort to make each member of our community feel valued. We wanted to create a welcoming and accepting environment in which every individual is acknowledged and appreciated. Our inspiration for this was how the Klein Community came together to care for each other after Hurricane Harvey. What if everyday were like that? What if we all took care of each other everyday regardless of who we were or where we came from because it was the right thing to do? What if no one ever felt lonely, or left out or uncared for? How amazing would it be if we created a community where everyone thought about the needs of every person, every day? It would be amazing.
As students we chose to strengthen the culture of Klein through our shared vision. That we, as students, will create a community for caring inside our schools so that every student feels included. The vision is divided into Five Pillars of Caring: originality, unity, kindness, culture, and equality.
