College Career & Military Readiness (CCMR)

College Ready

Graduates will have the ability to enroll in & succeed in entry-level college courses at two- and four-year institutions. This includes having the knowledge and skills for success in post-secondary coursework.

Career Ready

Graduates will have the ability to successfully enter the workforce having mastered: core academic skills; essential employability skills, such as critical thinking; and technical skills specific to a career pathway.

Military Ready

Graduates, after having an opportunity to take the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test & to consult with a military recruiter, may commit to enlistment with the United States Military.

Get CCMR Ready for Graduation

The Texas Education Agency (TEA) has defined a set of indicators that students can earn to be considered college, career or military ready.

Students who meet ONE (1) of these CCMR indicators are considered "CCMR Ready".
