Payments will be due on the 20th of each month from from August-May

Tuition

• Klein ISD Employees - $600
• Klein ISD Community Members - $650

Students will be placed on our pre-k waitlist and enrolled based on available space at each Pre-K campus. 

• There is no guarantee that your child will be offered a spot at a tuition-based Pre-K 4-Year-Old campus.
• When completing the application, tuition-based pre-k families will choose a first, second, and third choice campus preference.
• Due to limited space, your child may be placed at your second or third campus choice based on availability.

Klein ISD Pre-K program offers a full-day schedule for students who are 4 years old on or before September 1st of the current school year and meets Texas eligibility requirements.

School Hours will be the same as the home campus hours.

• Pre-K students attending their zoned campus are eligible for transportation services.
• Students assigned to a school other than their zoned campus will not qualify for transportation services.
• Refer to the Klein ISD Transportation page to locate your child's bus route or further information.

1 High-Quality Pre-K Teacher and 1 Paraprofessional in each classroom

Students have access to meals at school and can be provided free or reduced meals if eligible based on income guidelines.

Children from households whose incomes are at or below the levels shown in the appropriate table are eligible for free or reduced-price meals. Online Meal Application

If any member of the household receives Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) benefits, children are eligible for free meals.

Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) offers special education and related services for eligible children with disabilities ages 3 to 5. It's important to note that ECSE refers to the services provided by the district, rather than a specific location where these services are delivered.

Eligible children may receive ECSE services in various settings, including:

• Pre-kindergarten classrooms
• Self-contained classrooms
• Community settings such as Head Start and preschool programs

Attention Pre-K Dual Language Families

If your child is guested into the Pre-K Dual Language program, please be aware that they must register for Kindergarten and reapply for admission into the Dual Language program. Guesting into Pre-K does not guarantee placement in Kindergarten. To continue in the program, families must complete the district’s Kindergarten registration process and meet the Dual Language program requirements.
