Klein ISD proudly offers a variety of early childhood programs for children ages 18 months to 4 years, all designed to build strong academic and social foundations while supporting your child’s growth, learning, and long-term success. 4 Years Old
Pre-Kindergarten
Our high-quality Pre-Kindergarten Program is designed to give young learners a strong start, our Pre-K program features engaging, play-based instruction that promotes academic growth and character development. With support from our dedicated Early Childhood teachers, students gain the skills and confidence they need to thrive in kindergarten and beyond.
We offer two enrollment options.
- Qualified (Free & State-Funded) - Students who meet state eligibility requirements may qualify for free, state-funded enrollment.
- Tuition-Based - For families who do not qualify, you can now join our waiting list to attend a Klein ISD school for Pre-K! A tuition-based option is now available for children zoned to Klein ISD and for full-time district employees.

Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE)
Klein ISD provides special education services for eligible children with disabilities ages 3–5 in settings like Pre-K classrooms, self-contained classrooms, and community programs such as Head Start.
