Record-Breaking $735,784 Earned at 56th Annual Klein ISD FFA Livestock & Project Show
Klein ISD hosted the 56th Annual Klein ISD FFA Livestock and Project Show from February 4 to 8, 2025, showcasing the outstanding work of 585 Agriscience Program students and FFA exhibitors.
Community members across the Klein ISD showed tremendous support for the 1,150 projects exhibited during the Livestock and Project Show auction, earning $405,450 in auction sales. The total of all sales was $735,784.
"Our FFA student exhibitors showcased incredible skill, passion, and commitment, representing the very best of agricultural education,” Klein ISD CTE Director Deborah Bronner-Westerduin said. “None of this would be possible without the unwavering support of our AgriScience teachers, the Show Committee, our Show Chair, and the hundreds of community and parent volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes. Their dedication ensures that this tradition continues to thrive, providing students with invaluable experiences that build leadership, responsibility, and a deep appreciation for agriculture."
In addition to the remarkable auction sales, the Livestock and Project Show saw a record-breaking $735,784 in total sales. The funds from the event will be returned to the students, either as college scholarships or reinvested in their projects for the upcoming school year.
Through involvement with the National FFA Organization, students gain invaluable experience. The FFA reinforces rigorous Agriscience curriculum content and plays a crucial role in developing premier leadership skills, fostering personal growth, and laying a strong foundation for college and career success.
“Behind every successful Klein ISD FFA Livestock & Project Show are dedicated Ag teachers, passionate FFA students, and hardworking show committee volunteers,” Klein ISD CTE Coordinator and Show Chairman Amanda Simmons said. “Their commitment, resilience, and teamwork made this year’s event truly unforgettable. Thank you for your endless efforts and dedication to excellence!”
We are so proud of our outstanding students and educators, who make the Livestock and Project Show successful year after year. We are also beyond grateful for the continued support of our Klein community!
