Klein ISD Education Foundation (KEF) directors, community members, and our Superintendent, Dr. Jenny McGown, made surprise visits aboard the KEF Celebration Express, delivering $61,357 in innovative classroom grants.

School staff and grant writers from across the district were overwhelmed with excitement as dozens of KEF supporters and volunteers clapped and cheered down the halls with oversized checks for the grant recipients.

"Seeing the joy these grants bring to our teachers and principals is truly inspiring. They open doors for our students to grow, connect, and pursue their purpose,” Klein ISD Superintendent Dr. Jenny McGown said. “I’m so thankful to the Klein Education Foundation and our generous business partners and grant sponsors for helping make these opportunities a reality for our students and educators."

This fall, the KEF Celebration Express delivered grants for ground-breaking programs and initiatives that will bring education to life for our learners in various ways. These grants were made possible by the support of numerous loyal community partners.

“My heart is so full of gratitude today for the Klein ISD Education Foundation Directors, our sponsors who make these grants possible, and for the educators across Klein ISD who go above and beyond to provide an exceptional learning experience for our students,” Klein ISD KEF Director Christy Spisak said. “Celebration Express Days are always one of the very best days of the year, and today was no exception!”
