Georgan Reitmeier Announces Retirement from Klein ISD Board of Trustees
Klein, TX – After 18 years of service, distinguished Klein ISD Trustee Georgan Reitmeier has announced her retirement from the Klein ISD Board of Trustees at the end of her elected term this November, 2023.
Georgan Reitmeier has been an integral part of the Klein ISD family for over 30 years, beginning her years of service as a parent volunteer, then as an Early Childhood Interventionist, and later as a School Board member since her first elected term as a trustee in 2005. She has tirelessly advocated for public education, earning a Master Trustee certification.
“It has been my honor to work alongside Trustee Reitmeier, and Klein ISD undoubtedly has benefited in countless ways from her faithful service to our district,” said Dr. Jenny McGown, Klein ISD Superintendent. “We have been incredibly blessed by her remarkable leadership and guidance, steadfast commitment to our students, families, and staff members, and devoted care for our Klein Family. She is a woman marked by strength, dignity, and grace, and we are all better for having served under her leadership.”
The public is cordially invited to attend the event to honor Ms. Reitmeier’s years of dedicated service to the Klein ISD community.
