Want to learn about advanced pathways, gifted and talented services, and becoming college and career-ready?
 
Klein ISD Advanced Academics is excited to host the G/T Summit on Saturday, September 23, at the Klein ISD Multipurpose Center, 7500 FM 2920, beginning at 9 AM. Students of all ages and their families are invited to attend this day full of engaging activities, dynamic challenges, and hands-on learning activities. You do not need to be identified as G/T to attend the event.
 
There will be numerous sessions covering a wide range of G/T topics and advanced pathways
  • Interactive learning experiences for students and adults
  • Student panels from various courses and advanced learning organizations (elementary through high school)
  • G/T Characteristics and Identification
  • Learning demonstrations, digital resources, challenge-based learning
  • Klein Prep, AP, and HS College Credit
  • International Baccalaureate (IB), Fine Arts, STEAM
  • Career & Technical Education Pathways
  • Creativity & the Arts, Authentic Performance Tasks
  • Student Discourse and Divergent Thinking
  • Twice Exceptional Learners
  • College & Career, transitioning to intermediate and high school
  • And more!

Families are invited to attend sessions and discussions about gifted services, advanced placement options, college readiness, and much more.
