KLEIN, TX - Klein Collins High School is thrilled to announce that its Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) unit has achieved a remarkable 'Exceeds Standards' rating in the formal Unit Evaluation. This exceptional rating, a testament to the unit's dedication and excellence, sets Klein Collins High apart in the AFJROTC community.

"We commend the Klein Collins AFJROTC unit for their outstanding performance and commitment to excellence,” AFJROTC evaluating officer and Regional Director Joel Jones, GS-12, DAF, said. "Achieving an 'Exceeds Standards' rating is a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved in the program. We look forward to continued collaboration in our shared mission of developing citizens of character for America."

The purpose of the Unit Evaluation was to provide feedback on the performance of the AFJROTC unit and assess its compliance with relevant regulations, including Public Law, Department of Defense and Air Force Instructions, and the written agreement between the school district and the Air Force. During the evaluation, the cadets displayed exemplary pride in their unit, showcasing their commitment to the core values of the Air Force.

"The cadets worked tirelessly for several months in preparation for this inspection, dedicating their weekends and school breaks to ensure every effort was made to excel. They meticulously repaired and cleaned every corner of the physical spaces to white gloves standards," Klein Collins Senior Aerospace Science Instructor Major Alan Fields said. "The cadet leadership reviewed and rewrote procedures and standards that needed revision, earning 18 'Best Practices' from the Air Force. The inspecting officer was impressed, remarking, 'This unit is easily in the top 3 of all units I've seen this year.'

Maj Alan Fields and MSgt Robert J. Morse created a dynamic, supportive learning environment and excellent community outreach. The instructors have provided outstanding leadership in administering the cadet-centered citizenship program.
The Klein Collins High School cadets performed exceptionally well and took great pride in leading and accomplishing their unit goals. The Klein Collins High School Air Force Junior ROTC citizenship program is positively impacting the cadets, the school, and the surrounding community.

Congratulations, Klein Collins AFJROTC, on this achievement. Your #KleinFamily is so proud of you all.
