Klein Forest High School hosted a ceremony to celebrate and recognize the top 10 percent of graduating seniors in the Class of 2024.

“The top 10 percent celebration has always been the start of ‘graduation season,’ and I look forward to this awesome moment for our kids every year,” Principal Lance Alexander said.  “The best part of the entire celebration is hearing our students thank their parents, teachers, and fellow students for supporting them on their journey toward where they are now. It’s a ceremony filled with smiles, laughs, and happy tears.”

These students have worked hard throughout their high school careers to exit with a purpose this May.

Klein Forest top 10 graduate Jailyn Barnuevo reflected on her hard work and growth over the past four years.

“As one of the top 10 students, I could scarcely envision myself achieving my current rank. Starting as a top 15 student in my earlier years of high school, witnessing my current position fills me with awe at the dedication and effort I've invested,” Barnuevo said. “Embracing every setback as an opportunity for growth and learning, I've elevated myself to this esteemed rank through sheer perseverance and relentless pursuit of excellence. My journey to becoming a top 10 student has transcended personal accomplishments; it has been a persistent race of self-improvement, constantly challenging my limits rather than merely competing with my peers.”

Congratulations to these outstanding Golden Eagles scholars! Your #KleinFamily is so proud of you and excited for all the success that will surely come in your future.
