Klein ISD Named Best Community for Music Education for 13th Straight Year

For the 13th consecutive year, the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Foundation has named Klein ISD one of the 2024 Best Communities for Music Education. This recognition not only underscores our community's exceptional commitment to music education but also fills us with immense pride in our collective achievement.

NAMM has recognized communities for their dedication to Music Education for 25 years. The award program highlights the outstanding efforts by teachers, administrators, parents, students, and community leaders and their support for music education as part of a well-rounded education for all children.

“In Klein ISD, we have a longstanding tradition of excellence in fine arts,” Klein ISD Superintendent Dr. Jenny McGown said. “It’s an honor to be recognized once again as one of the BEST communities for music education in our nation. I am grateful for the incredible music educators in our schools who cultivate a love for music and creativity in our talented students. To qualify for this designation, districts must complete a 50-page application that examines various data about music education within the district, including programs, funding, and enrollment.
