Relief Rezoning Update #3 - DEC 4

Dear Klein ISD Community,

Relief Rezoning committee members comprised of parents, teachers, and principals representing every elementary and intermediate school met again last week.

The committee reviewed community feedback that was submitted to the feedback form, which resulted in newly proposed map changes for elementary and intermediate school zones. Members, including principals, teachers, and parents from every elementary and intermediate school, collaborated on the proposed changes and agreed they met the district objectives of:

  • creating more balanced student enrollment at each school, and
  • keeping building capacity at or below 95% utilization throughout the next 5 years.

Please take a moment to review the presentations and draft plans from the Relief Rezoning Committee meetings.

We value your input, and we kindly ask that you use this official relief rezoning feedback form rather than social media or other communication methods, as this form is the only medium of feedback that will be reviewed and evaluated by the Relief Rezoning Committee and district personnel.

Thank you for your support and understanding through this comprehensive improvement process.
