STEM Professionals Needed as Guest Speakers Aboard the STEAM Express
Come aboard the STEAM Express and inspire the next generation of STEM Professionals!
We are seeking guest speakers in Klein ISD schools who are currently working or retired from a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) career with special emphasis on, but not limited to, the following careers: Networking, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Video Game Programming, Architecture, Animation, Engineering, Geospatial Engineering.
The STEAM Express travels to our 52 schools each year to promote STEM careers and current Klein ISD programs for our students.
Guest speakers will be part of a student’s experience during a rotation when the STEAM Express is at a school. You will give a short presentation to students that will:
-
Describe your STEM career
-
Show items or pictures related to your STEM career
-
Answer questions about your career
The more interactive you can make your presentation, the better!
Participants do not need to have a student in Klein ISD. All participants must pass a background check to interact with the students.
Please fill out the form, and our STEAM Express Coordinator, Marc Williams, will contact you with more information. If you have any questions, please email Mr. Williams at mwilliams5@kleinisd.net.
