Wunderlich Intermediate Students and Teacher Honored at Board Meeting
Two students and a teacher from Wunderlich Intermediate were honored at the November Board of Trustees meeting for their hard work and talent in the classroom.
Social studies and physical education teacher Travis Gable embodies the Klein ISD Promise2Purpose shared vision by being a collaborative, relationship-driven teacher. During the 2023-2024 school year, he was also named Wunderlich’s Rising Star Teacher of the Year.
“Mr. Gable is truly the heart and soul of our sixth-grade learning community. He always thinks ‘we not me’ when it comes to every student and staff member,” Wunderlich Intermediate Principal Eric Lathan said.
Jade Bradshaw is an outstanding student at Wunderlich Intermediate. She excels in academics and cheerleading but is committed to continuous improvement. Her positive attitude makes her a role model for all of her peers.
“Jade always wants to do better. She’s super amazing, her grades are always on point, and I’m so blessed to have her on the cheer team as my head captain,” Teacher Julia Nelly said.
AbdulMutaali Ademilola ‘Demmy’ Ibraheem is committed to fostering strong relationships and truly believes in team spirit. He is a shining example of Wunderlich’s mission of “operating in excellence.”
“Demmy is always building positive and productive relationships whether it’s on the court, or on the football field, or in the classroom,” Teacher Brett Henry said.
Congratulations again to Mr. Gable, Jade, and Demmy for being terrific examples of leadership to our Klein Family. You genuinely exemplify what it means to succeed and make us proud!
