KLEIN, TEXAS — On October 5, 2026, the Klein ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved the 2027–28 district calendar during its regular meeting, giving students, families and staff the opportunity to plan well in advance for the next school year.

The district recently invited staff, parents, students and community members to share their input through a calendar survey. Participants ranked three proposed calendar options, and Calendar A received the majority of support from respondents across all groups. Based on this feedback, Calendar A was recommended to the Board for adoption.

Klein ISD is grateful to the many members of our community who took the time to share their preferences and help shape the calendar for the year ahead. We also appreciate our Board of Trustees for supporting the input shared by our Klein ISD community and approving the calendar well in advance, allowing our Klein ISD students, staff and families to plan with greater clarity and confidence for the future.
