Klein ISD Education Foundation (KEF) directors, community members, and Superintendent Dr. McGown made surprise visits aboard the KEF Celebration Express, delivering $92,569 in innovative classroom grants.
School staff and grant writers across the district were excited as dozens of KEF supporters and volunteers clapped and cheered down the halls with oversized checks for the grant recipients.
“It’s inspiring to witness the joy these grants bring to our teachers and principals. They create meaningful opportunities for our students to grow, connect, and thrive in their purpose,” Klein ISD Superintendent Dr. McGown said. “I’m grateful to the Klein ISD Education Foundation, our generous business partners, and grant sponsors for turning our educators’ dreams into a reality for our students.”
This spring, the KEF Celebration Express delivered grants for ground-breaking programs and initiatives that will bring education to life for our learners in various ways. These grants were made possible by the support of numerous loyal community partners.
