Two students and a teacher from Brill Elementary were honored at the October Board of Trustees meeting for their hard work and talent in the classroom.
Teacher Ms. Michelle Jones embodies the Klein ISD Promise2Purpose shared vision by being student-focused and relationship-driven. She goes above and beyond to support her students and new staff members.
“Not only does Ms. Jones support her students, but she also mentors new staff, sponsors clubs, leads our fifth-grade team, and pours her heart into our school community,” Brill Principal Ellen Hodge said.
Marco, an outstanding Brill student, is known for his positive attitude and determination. He consistently sets high goals for himself and approaches every challenge with creativity and persistence.
“He embodies the qualities of a pathway explorer by setting goals, problem-solving, and showing self-discipline in his academics and extracurricular activities,” Teacher Ms. Ruiz said.
Brill student Mei Mei stands out for her commitment to the Brill Bronco core values and excellence in everything she does, both on and off campus.
“Mei Mei is goal-oriented, self-disciplined, and relentlessly pursues excellence in both academics and athletics,” teacher Ms. Current said. “We are so proud of you—way to grow.”
