KLEIN, TX—Klein ISD is taking innovation to the next level with the launch of Texas Promise Academy, a full-time, tuition-free online school serving 6th through 12th-grade students across Texas, beginning in Fall 2026.

This new Klein ISD program is built for all Texas families seeking a high-quality, flexible learning option. Families who live within Klein ISD or nearby will also have access to a flexible model that allows students to learn virtually while participating in athletics, fine arts, and UIL programs at their zoned schools.

Families who want early access should complete the Texas Promise Academy interest form now. Those who sign up will be the first to receive updates and will have priority access when applications open in Spring 2026. Early interest form respondents will be notified before the public, giving them the first opportunity to secure a spot.

“We’re committed to expanding opportunities for every student in Texas to experience our Klein tradition of excellence,” Klein ISD Chief Academic Officer Dr. Anthony Indelicato said. “Families who complete the interest form now will be the first to learn about how Texas Promise Academy will offer the same Klein-caliber education in a flexible, innovative format.”

Texas Promise Academy will serve students statewide through a rigorous online program taught by certified Klein ISD teachers.

Families are encouraged to complete the Texas Promise Academy interest form today to reserve their place and be among the first to access this new statewide learning opportunity.

If you are interested in your student participating in a virtual option for the 2026–2027 school year, please complete the interest survey on the Texas Promise Academy website as soon as possible. The interest form closes Wednesday, December 17, 2025.

In the coming months, Klein ISD will use responses from the interest form to shape course offerings, including advanced coursework and specialized programs. Space will be limited, and information from families will directly guide the design of Texas Promise Academy’s inaugural year.
