Eight student-athletes signed letters of intent for the college of their choice, many with high-dollar scholarships attached, during Klein Forest’s National Signing Day celebration.
“We are honored to recognize an outstanding group of students whose commitment and dedication both academically and athletically have brought them to this celebration,” Klein Forest Athletic Director Darrick Vaughn said. “We congratulate them on their well-earned success and wish them continued success in their collegiate sports careers and academic endeavors.”
The signing day ceremony recognized many years of hard work and was emotional for students, teams, families, and coaches.
“I want to thank God for placing me in this position and blessing me with the opportunity to continue playing the sport I love,” Klein Forest senior and Texas A&M University-Kingsville signee James Robinson said. “Signing Day represents years of hard work, prayer, and perseverance. The journey has challenged me both mentally and physically, but through discipline and belief, it has all paid off. I’m grateful for my coaches, teammates, and family who supported me throughout this process. I’m excited for what lies ahead and ready to embrace the next chapter.”

Golden Eagle senior and signee Janiyah McDonald is proud to commit to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and has also been looking forward to signing day.
“I am beyond thankful for the opportunity to be able to sign and continue doing what I love at the collegiate level,” McDonald said. “Though the journey has been long, I have been supported every step of the way. I want to thank God for continuing to bless me. And blessing me with the gift of running. I would also like to thank everyone who poured into me over the years.”
We are so proud of our athletes for choosing where they will continue their academic and athletic careers. Your Klein Family is always cheering you on!
