Nineteen student-athletes signed letters of intent for the college of their choice, many with high-dollar scholarships attached, during Klein Cain’s National Signing Day celebration.
“It is always a very special day to see our student-athletes realize their goals and dreams of competing at the next level,” Klein Cain Athletic Director James Clancy said. “It gives our campus a great sense of pride knowing these students will be ambassadors for our school and our programs.”
The signing day ceremony recognized many years of hard work and was emotional for students, teams, families, and coaches.
“This feels amazing, and I’m really glad and really blessed that I was able to make such an accomplishment,” Western Colorado Signee Peyton Kiggens said. “I’m going to be able to continue to swim and study Exercise Science. Graduating is bittersweet, but there’s a lot of change that’s going to happen, and I am looking forward to it.”

For some student-athletes, this is a continuation of the hard work they’ve put in and the lasting relationships they’ve built during their time at Klein Cain.
It feels amazing to be here at signing day, it feels good to be ending high school with the people I grew up with,” National Park College signee Alex Murillo said. “I’m lucky enough to be going to college with some of my friends here that I play baseball with right now, so it’s going to be fun, I’m very excited!”
We are so proud of our athletes for choosing where they will continue their academic and athletic careers. Your Klein Family is always cheering you on!
