Brill Elementary Principal Ellen Hodge has been named Klein ISD’s 2026 Elementary Principal of the Year.
A selfless, strong, and steady leader, Ms. Hodge is recognized for building strong relationships, maintaining high expectations, and always leading with positivity and heart.
"Ms. Hodge is an exceptional leader in our Klein Family,” Klein ISD Superintendent Dr. Jenny McGown said. “Her heart of gold and student-centered focus guide all her decisions, and her optimism, kindness, and commitment can be felt in every corner of Brill Elementary. We are so thankful to have Ms. Hodge leading our Brill students, staff, and families. Congratulations, Ellen, on this well-deserved recognition!"
Before becoming the principal at Brill Elementary, Ms. Hodge served as a Kleb Intermediate teacher, assistant principal, and principal.
Ms. Hodge is known as a caring leader who is kind, innovative, and encouraging. She is always thoughtful and concerned about the success of others and willing to share ideas with colleagues. She models instructional excellence, celebrates staff wins, and steps in whenever needed with humility and unwavering dedication.
