The Klein ISD Board of Trustees recognized two outstanding Strack Intermediate students and one remarkable staff member at the February board meeting for their dedication to classroom success.
Strack sixth-grade Math teacher Ms. Melissa Angulo is a dynamic teacher who brings energy, creativity, and purpose into her classroom every single day. Ms. Angulo’s student data is consistently top-tier, and she’s always willing to share what works in her department. She has led professional development at both the campus and district levels.
“Ms. Angulo’s lessons are fun, engaging, and thoughtfully designed, and most importantly, her students genuinely love her,” Strack Principal Stephanie Grey said. “Melissa’s combination of excellence, leadership, and heart makes her so deserving of this award. Congratulations, Melissa! We are so proud of you.”
Paige is a student who truly represents the kind of person we should all strive to be. She is consistently kind, thoughtful, and selfless in everything she does.
“In a world where sometimes things can feel overwhelming or unkind, Paige is a bright light,” Strack teacher Ms. Alexandria Norton said. “She leads by example, and I am incredibly proud of her. Congratulations, Paige! It is truly a blessing to have you in class.”
Student Avyaan is dependable, comes prepared, stays engaged, and almost always challenges ideas and takes intellectual risks.
“I’ve had the pleasure of teaching Avyaan in Humanities the past two years.” Strack Teacher Jennifer Everett said. “In that time, I’ve watched Avyaan grow into someone who is not only academically strong but genuinely thoughtful. He’s the kind of student who makes teaching more meaningful and reminds you why you love being in the classroom. Congratulations, Avyaan! You deserve this—I can’t wait to hear about all the great things you accomplish one day.”
Congratulations to these Cougars for going above and beyond to better serve Strack and the Klein ISD community. Your #KleinFamily is proud of your achievements!
