Two students and a teacher from Hofius Intermediate were honored at the March Board of Trustees meeting for their hard work and excellence in the classroom.

In-class support teacher and athletic coach, Ms. Hannah Hollek, is an educator who impacts everyone around her. She is dedicated to giving her best every day, encouraging her students, and inspiring others to do the same.

“I have not seen Ms. Hollek in a situation where she wasn’t positive and determined for a positive outcome. Her attitude is infectious with everyone around her, students and staff alike. I really appreciate all that she does here at Hofius to cheer on our students as they grow and be a person who is inspiring to others. Whenever she’s around, you can’t help but smile and have a positive attitude.”

A standout student and athlete, Carson welcomes challenges at every turn. Always first to lend a helping hand, he leads with enthusiasm and heart.

“Carson is a very curious learner,” teacher Ms. Dawn Baumel said. “I love having him in science class because he asks wonderful questions and challenges himself into more rigorous thinking. He’s also very compassionate, and he will help other students. It’s great to see Carson excelling in both his academics and athletics.”

Ally is a well-rounded student who always steps up as a role model for her peers. Whether in a classroom discussion or in group settings, Ally’s excellence in the classroom is unmatched.

“Ally is an amazing student,” teacher Ms. Kimberly Jackson said. “She’s always willing to jump in on classroom conversations, and she always has a great input in our conversations. Her brain is always working. She’s willing to lead the team and she’s the one who keeps them on track.”

Congratulations to Ms. Hollek, Carson, and Ally on being shining examples of excellence at your school. Your dedication to success is inspirational to the Klein Family, and we are incredibly proud of you!
