KLEIN, TEXAS — Klein Cain High School captured its second straight UIL boys soccer state championship Saturday, beating Atascocita, 1-0, in the UIL 6A Division I final at Birkelbach Field in Georgetown.
The win capped a 19-3-5 season for Klein Cain and placed the Hurricanes among a rare group in Texas high school soccer. Klein Cain became just the second UIL 6A boys soccer program in state history to win back-to-back championships.
