Klein ISD high schools have once again earned prestigious recognition in high school musical theatre, receiving nominations and honors across multiple categories at the 2026 Tommy Tune Awards.
This well-deserved recognition highlights the extraordinary talent, dedication, and collaboration within the fine arts programs across Klein ISD. From performers and directors to designers, technicians, and orchestra members, students and staff continue to showcase the excellence and artistry that define Klein ISD Fine Arts.
“We’re incredibly proud of the recognition our students have earned through the Tommy Tune nominations, as it reflects their hard work and passion,” Klein ISD Director of Fine Arts Frank Chuter said. “What matters most is the growth, collaboration, and joy they experience every day in the process.”
The Tommy Tune Awards celebrate excellence in high school musical theatre across the Greater Houston area, recognizing outstanding achievement in performance, direction, design, and production. The 2026 Tommy Tune Awards will take place on May 8 at 7 p.m. at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets will go on sale to the public on Wednesday, March 25, and will be available online, by phone at 713-558-8887, or in person at the TUTS Box Office at 800 Bagby.
