KLEIN– Andrew Jones is not the kind of guy who talks a big game. But he sure does run one.
The Klein Collins senior stepped to the line Saturday at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin and did what he has been doing throughout his entire high school career – cleared hurdles faster than anyone in the state of Texas. He won the 110-meter hurdles in 13.01 seconds, four hundredths ahead of the second-place finisher.
Then he turned around and ran the 300-meter hurdles in 36.00 flat. Gold number four.
