In our schools, mental health matters every day. When students feel supported, safe, and connected, they are better able to learn, grow, and thrive.
Let’s continue to look out for one another and remind every student that they are not alone. #KleinFamily

We are proud to recognize Mr. James Richards during Public School Volunteer Week for his service at Klein Cain High School. 🌟
For the past two years, Mr. Richards has served as a student mentor and liaison through the Loving Houston Church Partnership between Klein Cain and Lakewood Methodist Church. Through mentorship, he hopes to make a difference in a student’s life through presence, encouragement, and consistency.
Mr. Richards says his favorite part of volunteering has been getting to know the student he mentors and walking alongside him through life. His encouragement to others is that anyone can volunteer and make an impact with a willing heart and an open mind.
Thank you, Mr. Richards, for investing in students and families and for making a meaningful difference at Klein Cain.

Klein ISD is proud to celebrate our National Merit Finalists—the highest number in five years and double last year’s total! These scholars represent the very best of dedication, talent, and hard work, and we can’t wait to see what’s ahead as they advance in this prestigious competition.

We’re celebrating Ms. Sally Henderson during Public School Volunteer Week for the heart she brings to Mahaffey Elementary. 🤩
Since 2022, Ms. Henderson has faithfully volunteered as a mentor, using her experience as a retired teacher to support students and encourage those around her.
Her advice for anyone considering volunteering: "Start small. Whether it is helping in the workroom or assisting in PE during skate week, the time you give comes back multiplied in meaningful relationships and a deeper understanding of students and teachers."
Thank you, Ms. Henderson, for the care and commitment you pour into Mahaffey!

During Public School Volunteer Week, we’re celebrating volunteers like Ms. Harriet Sanders, who is making a meaningful difference at Roth Elementary through volunteering as a mentor. 🌟
In her first year as a mentor, Ms. Sanders set out to encourage children to be their best. What began with a little hesitation quickly turned into something special.
Thank you, Ms. Sanders, for showing up, building connections, and making a lasting impact at Roth. Your care and encouragement matter more than you know!
