Fall celebration Express

KLEIN — Klein ISD Education Foundation (KEF) directors, community members, and Superintendent Dr. Jenny McGown made surprise visits aboard the KEF Celebration Express, delivering $62,057 in innovative classroom grants.

School staff and grant writers from across the district were overwhelmed with excitement as dozens of KEF supporters and volunteers clapped and cheered down the halls with oversized checks for grant recipients.

"It is a true joy to surprise our extraordinary educators with these generously donated funds," said Klein ISD Superintendent Dr. Jenny McGown. "My heartfelt gratitude goes to the Klein ISD Education Foundation and our dedicated grant sponsors, whose support has made this day truly unforgettable for our entire Klein Family."

This fall, the KEF Celebration Express delivered grants for ground-breaking programs and initiatives that will bring education to life for our learners in various ways. These grants were made possible by the support of numerous loyal community partners.

“Today’s Celebration Express was an incredible reminder of the passion and creativity that fuels Klein ISD. The foundation is proud to support these innovative projects and the educators who dream big for their students,” Klein Education Foundation Director Christy Spisak said. “We're excited to see the impact these grants will have as they come to life, and we’re deeply grateful for the community partners who make this work possible and help us achieve our mission.”
