In Klein ISD, National Signing Day is an occasion filled with cheer and celebration.
This year, 79 student-athletes signed letters of intent for the colleges of their choice, many with high-dollar scholarships attached.
“National Signing Day is a powerful reminder of what is possible when talent meets discipline,” Superintendent Dr. Jenny McGown said. “These exceptional student-athletes have shown tremendous dedication to their sport and have brought tremendous pride to our Klein Family. We are incredibly proud to see so many of our kids earn the opportunity to compete at the collegiate level and wish them all the best as they continue pursuing their purpose in this next chapter.”
Brandon Baker, Klein ISD’s Executive Director of Athletics & Student Support Services, knows firsthand the devotion that our students and coaches put forth for this moment.
“National Signing Day is one of the best days of the year for Klein ISD Athletics,” Baker said. “It represents years of hard work, dedication, and sacrifice by our student-athletes, their coaches, and their families. Moments like today are a great reminder of our commitment to excellence in athletics and developing outstanding young people through sport.”
